Any academic association or professional conference organizer (PCO) is free to distribute their content online via Medflixs.com by using the contact form accessible via the home page. conference or symposium submissions are subject to verification before being made available online.

By its nature of content aggregator, Medflixs.com cannot be held responsible for the presence of content not submitted by the owner of the distribution rights. For each conference, video or symposium made available online, Medflixs.com agrees to cite explicitly the author, source, academic association or event organiser, date and place of the event as well as the web site of origin.

In the event that the owner of the rights to content does not want it to appear on Medflixs.com, they are free to ask for its immediate removal via the contact form accessible via the site menu or by using the email address: contact@medflixs.com. The content withdrawal request will be handled within 2 working days.

Medflixs.com is not responsible for the veracity of the information found within the content that it makes available. The scientific accuracy and opinions expressed during conferences, conferences and symposiums made available online remain the sole responsibility of their authors.

Medflixs.com Medflixs.com cannot be held responsible for the use of incorrect information proposed or linked to the site, included that of the websites linked to hypertext links found on the site. The user is solely responsible for the content he publishes on his behalf. The content of the comments and contributions does not engage the responsibility of Medflixs.com. It is the user's responsibility to comply with applicable regulations and to make all arrangements to verify the information and sources of other users. In case of inappropriate content, it is possible to request the removal via the contact form accessible through the menu of the site or by using the email address of contact: contact@medflixs.com.

Medflixs.com undertakes to respect the disposition of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

Personal data is collected by the company Cherry For LifeScience SAS, responsible for the handling, registered at the Nanterre RCS under number 810 337 048, to the address of 106 Bureaux de la Colline – 92213 Saint-Cloud. The site master agrees on their honour to respect the legal condition of confidentiality applicable in France.

The data that can be collected within the scope of Medflixs.com is :

Data on user accounts: refers to the data that the user enters when creating a new account by filling in the new user form on Medflixs.com. The fields that must obligatorily be filled in are the surname, name, type of medical profession, email address, username and password. The non-compulsory data includes the profession and telephone number. These details are transmitted by the user during the subscription process.

Data relative to surfing on the site: Medflixs.com collects user data as they browse the site (see paragraph below “Cookie policy”).

Data on the contact form: refers to the data that the user fills out on the sites’ contact form.

Data made public by the user: refers to the whole of the data that the user publishes on the public parts of the Medflixs.com site, in the public online discussions, and the comments section on conferences and videos.

Statistical data on usage: E.g. number of times a video has been watched.

Cherry For LifeScience collects and handles Medflixs.com’s user’s personal data solely:

- If this is made necessary by its legitimate interests in relation to the site administration, and particularly in order to provide and improve its services, suggest suitable and personalised content, undertake commercial operations, respond to contact requests, as well as for internal administration purposes;

- If the user has consented for defined, explicit and legitimate ends, and especially with regards to commercial prospecting and cookies, the user has the right to refuse to consent, or to revoke it at any time thereafter;

Medflixs.com’s user’s data is primarily used to obtain statistics about content streaming, site frequentation and to improve the user experience; in the case of the contact forms, the data is collected to process the user’s enquiry.

Medflixs.com will not use this data for commercial purposes nor will it make them available to third parties if the user has not ticked the box “by ticking this box, I agree to receive offers from Medflixs.com partners”.

Medflixs.com will keep the data collected for as long as it is needed to accomplish the tasks for which it was collected. Data collected during the registration is kept until deletion of the account.

The database containing users’ personal data on Medflixs.com is strictly confidential and Cherry For LifeScience has in place technical and organisational security measures in order to ensure the safety and confidentiality of your personal data. In this frame, user’s personal data can be communicated to Cherry For LifeScience’s authorised personnel.

Users that have ticked the box “by ticking this box, I agree to receive offers from Medflixs.com partners” when subscribing could have their data transferred to a Cherry For LifeScience commercial partner in order to receive offers or marketing communications.

- Relevant authorities

Medflixs.com could be asked to provide user’s personal data in order to respond to a legal or regulatory enquiry from the relevant public authorities.

Medflixs.com reserves the right to undertake studies and general statistical analyses (under no circumstances personalised) regarding the use and classification of the site by users and to inform potential advertisers.

Medflixs.com will not be held responsible for “spam” received by users that choose to voluntarily publish their email address.

The use and browsing of Medflixs.com must respect the laws and rulings in force. Users undertakes not to post offensive, defamatory, hateful, sponsored or promotional material, sexual, pornographic or contrary to morality or undesirable for Medflixs.com.

Users must also respect the rulings with regards to author rights and industrial property such as the creation of multimedia, texts, articles, photos, databases, images and poll or survey results.
