The SID Annual Scientific Meeting is held each spring in the United States. Every 5 years, the annual meeting is held in collaboration with the European Society for Dermatological Research and the Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology, known as "International Investigative Dermatology (IID)". The content of the IID annual meeting includes invited lectures by internationally renowned scientists, cutting-edge skin science lectures, peer-reviewed oral abstract presentations, educational symposia on a wide range of topics, electronic and paper poster presentations. and interactive workshop-style sessions. With an attendance of more than 1,200 people, SID meetings attract basic and clinical scientists interested in dermatology to learn about the latest discoveries in laboratory, clinical and translational research.
