The congresses of the SNFMI are the opportunity for our community to meet, enrich, share. It is a privileged moment of exchanges between the younger generations and the older ones. It's also an opportunity to discover a new region.

The team of internal medicine of Grenoble and the Alpine Arc is delighted to welcome you for this congress Grenoble 2018. Our congress will be articulated around three themes:
 
The pathologies associated with mast cell activation (MCAD) have become a subject of concern and clinical research for our team through angioedemas. These pathologies are true systemic diseases, some of which are associated with an autoimmune context. The management of these pathologies requires close cooperation with dermatologists, pediatricians, emergency physicians, allergists and hematologists. The CREAK (Reference Center for Angioedemas in Kinines) has thus become a UCARE center, a European center of reference and excellence on spontaneous chronic urticaria, which, as you will discover, is not just a dermatological disease.
 
The management of dysimmune diseases during pregnancy is a real challenge for our community. As the prognosis of systemic diseases improves, more and more women want to carry out a pregnancy project. Dysimmunity also acts as a physiopathological hypothesis for some unexplained spontaneous miscarriages. Some of them may be the witness of an autoimmune disease directed against the placenta.
 
Internal medicine is also the management of the polypathological patient in post emergency. We propose a session on the frequent situations in internal medicine. The increasing investment of internists in post-emergency units induces training and clinical research needs in this area. The congresses of the SNFMI must take ownership of these new concerns.
