Breast Cancer: Optimizing the Care Journey

Course of Women ... Care Path.

In 20 years, the words to qualify this hard test that the crossing of the disease imposes on thousands of women have become familiar to us.

From individual testimonies accumulated over time and which have all challenged us (thanks to the patients and their associations) to a complex organizational mode (DGOS, INCa, ARS) we are, as always confronted with a permanent challenge: how to improve the taking into account charge of each being in its singularity, its otherness in facing the multiple constraints that the increasing number of patients to treat imposes on us.

Each actor in this multidisciplinary care will, each in its professional specificity, address the elements likely to improve this course of care. These are other challenges to be met: facilitate exchanges between these many professionals, limit delays, avoid redundancies, improve the effectiveness of treatments, reduce side effects, broaden our horizon on post-cancer, secure this care .
