The "Forum du Val," organized by the FOR.M.A.H association, is an annual orthotic and prosthetic congress held towards the end of January at the École du Val-de-Grâce.

Formerly known as the "Forum du Val de Fontenay," it has been managed by the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) department of the Percy Military Hospital (HIA Percy) since the integration of the orthotic and prosthetic centers for Veterans into the French Armed Forces Medical Service (SSA).

FOR.M.A.H, a non-profit association, aims to:

Unite all professionals involved in the orthotic and prosthetic care of individuals with disabilities, in France and worldwide.
Promote and organize meetings, training, education, and research in the field of orthotic and prosthetic care for people with disabilities.

These missions are conducted with the utmost neutrality and objectivity, fostering collaboration among various orthotic and prosthetic professionals to advance clinical, technological, and above all, human cooperation.

The "Forum du Val" also serves as a continuing education tool for the PMR specialty and the Ministry of the Armed Forces. It complements or mirrors the initial training in this field, provided by the University Diploma in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Sorbonne University), with courses delivered at the École du Val-de-Grâce.
