Posture, Balance and Locomotion The interest of this joint congress is to offer a comprehensive vision, at the cutting edge of clinical and fundamental research and treatment. This congress will take place over 3 days from December 1 to 3, 2022. Registration to SOFPEL or SFN will give access to all three days of the congress. The first day (SFN President's Day) will be devoted to the mechanisms involved in postural-locomotor disorders, particularly in Parkinson's disease and ataxias, from their current treatments to the most innovative developments. The second day (SOFPEL Congress) will focus on sensorimotor adaptation throughout life. The role of sensory modalities in the encoding of body movements, the involvement of cognitive processes in postural and locomotor control, and body representations during development will be discussed. The third day will be dedicated to the transposition of the notion of participatory research into the clinic and to the establishment of a Franco-Quebec network for child and adult rehabilitation. The congress will be offered in hybrid mode on December 1 and 2.
